Journey into the Microcosm

An adventure from macro to micro, in the wonderful world of natural sciences!
Pupils will learn about and practice using the scientific method (from question and hypothesis, through to conclusions) to explore daily topics, going from a macro to micro scale. There will be a particular focus on introducing, learning and using scientific vocabulary, as they use the scientific method to explore different subjects in the natural world.
Topics will include:
・Cosmology
・Materials and States of Matter
・Biomes
・Animal Classification
・Plants and Funghi
・Food Chains
・Forces
・Light and Sound
This programme is designed to empower EAL learners to develop and refine their scientific expressive language, to think and speak like a scientist!
Intermediate Group – Years3 and 4
Age group: 7-9 years Schedule: 10:00-11:30

Advanced Group – Years 5 and 6 Age group: 9-11 years
Schedule: 12:00-13:30
Tutor: Eric
Min 4, max 8 per group.
