Teacher Introduction
Jennifer Jungen Shim is an art director specializing in graphic design, typography, illustration and fine art. Her work spans numerous mediums and applications, from simple illustrations to corporate identities. She currently teaches Studio Art Club at The British School in Tokyo.
She had previously worked as a full-time designer for The Shilla Hotels and Resorts in Seoul, Korea, and Victoria’s Secret and Chandelier Creative in New York City. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design(RISD), and is a graduate of the Emma Willard School.She has lived in various parts of the US, London, Seoul and Tokyo throughout her life. She brings unique design and visual language that can effectively communicate to people of many different backgrounds.
Jennifer will collaborate with VE After-school Club to offer art classes at our Azabudai classroom this summer. The curriculum is carefully designed to provide your children with the most professional art enlightenment. Please see the poster for more details.

Jennifer Jungen Shim 是一位艺术总监，擅长于平面设计、排版设计、插图及美术。她的作品涉及多种媒介和应用，从简单的插图到企业形象设计都有涉及。她目前在东京的英国学校教授 Studio Art Club。她此前曾在韩国首尔的新罗酒店和度假村、纽约的维多利亚的秘密和 Chandelier Creative 担任全职设计师。她拥有来自罗德岛设计学院（Rhode Island School of Design）的平面设计学士学位，毕业于 Emma Willard 学校。Jennifer 在美国各地、伦敦、首尔和东京等多个地方居住过。她带来独特的设计和视觉语言，能够有效地与来自不同背景的人沟通。
Jennifer本人将与VE Learning Center合作，在这个夏天在我们的麻布台教室开设美术课程，内容精心设计，给您的孩子最专业的艺术启蒙。
